VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation today announced that the tickets for the VGH Millionaire Lottery are now on sale until midnight, January 10, 2025, or until tickets sell out. The VGH Millionaire Lottery supports VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation, the leading charity investing in health care innovation in BC. All proceeds help fund state-of-the-art equipment, groundbreaking research, and innovative treatment options offered at Vancouver General Hospital, UBC Hospital, GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre, Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute and Vancouver Community Health Services.
The winner of the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation Millionaire Lottery can choose one of 10 Grand Prize packages. Grand Prize homes are in South Surrey, Langley, Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Kelowna, Vernon, Courtenay and Sooke. The Grand Prize home packages are valued between $3 – $3.3 million. The Grand Prize winner also can choose $2.8 million tax-free cash, the largest lottery cash prize in B.C.’s history.

Millionaire Lottery tickets are available at 2 for $100, 5 for $175, 10 for $300, and 25 for $600. The lottery also offers exciting additional games: the 50/50 PLUS lottery, with a potential maximum prize payout of up to $2.4 million (depending on ticket sales), and the return of the Daily Cash PLUS game, featuring 105 days of winning. Each day will have two winners, except for the final Friday, which will award one $75,000 winner, one $50,000 winner, and one $25,000 winner, bringing the total prize value to $400,000.
